Jagran Youth Parliament recognizes that India's most complex challenges require fresh perspectives, not recycled solutions. JYP is a platform designed to immerse India's brightest minds in exploring ideas through democratic process. Through structured debates and interactive simulations, JYP builds leadership, develops communication skills, and inspires civic engagement.
Selection process of JYP is through debate competition only.

6 minutes paired debates at UG & PG level,
topic-based argumentation, judged on articulation and logic.
30-day online training on critical thinking, policy understanding, teamwork, and diplomacy.
Take roles of MPs & Ministers and engage in real issue debates during 2-day JYP session in Delhi with policymakers.
Undergraduate and postgraduate students from across India are eligible to apply.
No, there is no registration fee. The event is completely free for selected participants.
The event is conducted in a parliamentary debate format based on pre-decided motions judged on articulation, logic, and teamwork.
Winners will be selected in inter college & university debate format based on pre-decided motions judge on articulation, logic, and teamwork. Winning participants will be eligible for jagran youth parliament.
